The Chamber is excited to host a week-long Armed Forces Celebration, to recognize the role Redstone Arsenal plays in the defense of our nation and the economic impact that it has on our region. Over 41,000 people with 70 different organizations work on Redstone Arsenal’s 38,000-acres. Total budgets managed at Redstone exceed $50 billion, with more than $7 billion of that spent in the community. Redstone accounts for roughly half of the local economy. Madison County is ranked #7 in the nation for military spending.
