CyberReach is partnering with IEEE SouthEastCon 2019 to deliver 3 events on Cyber Skills Development.  Make plans to attend, network and learn! 

  • Women in Engineering Training and Luncheon – April 12   (8:30 am to 1 pm)
  • Cybersecurity Career Development Workshop – April 12 (1-5pm)
  • Cyber / STEM Kids Learning Day – April 13  (8:30 am – 12 pm)

1. Women in Engineering Training and Luncheon

CyberReach at IEEE SouthEastCon 2019

A networking opportunity for women working in engineering, cybersecurity, science and other technical domains. 

This event will highlight challenges and successes for Women in Engineering, sharing 'Power Skills', Leadership, and the Value of Mentorship and Networking. 

Keynote Speaker:  Dr. Lisa Watson-Morgan, deputy director of the Engineering Directorate at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

2. Cybersecurity Career Development Workshop
CyberReach at IEEE SouthEastCon 2019

This event will deliver powerful information on how to develop cybersecurity skills and the right certifications for better career opportunities. Learn about the NIST NICE Framework and how it is used to better align cyber career pathways. Hear about different perspectives on cybersecurity across various industries and deep dive into changing approaches to DevSecOps. Don't miss this event hosted by industry experts!

3. CYBER / STEM Learning Event for KIDS
CyberReach at IEEE SouthEastCon 2019

The CyberReach / IEEE STEM Cyber Event is designed for students K-12 to gain the knowledge to identify and explain the basic hardware and software components of a computer, as well as recognize network components and protocols, and common cyber security threats and vulnerabilities. In addition, students will also learn about the different types of industry certifications and jobs that are available.

Designed to allow Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts to complete badge requirements AND for general public STEM awareness and education.
